C++ end-user GUI

Frontend devs, need some advice here. I'm in search for a UI library with consistent UX specifically tailored towards end users, but yet it must be lightweight and portable to other platforms. So far I couldn't find shit. Am I better off making a GUI of my own, or is there a better option?
