files uploading and previewing

im currently working on a website (more of a blog) and i wanted to add a feature using javascript to upload audio files or video files to a folder through an HTML page and be able to view the uploaded files automatically in the frontend of the videos or audio section but the functions dont seem to work right, cant figure it out
is there any way to make it or any other way to upload and preview files?
(lol sry if it doesnt make sense)
