C++ VS Code Compiler Problem.

Hi im new to C++ Coding. Today I tried download loading the Compiler for C++ in VS. Everything installed but when i used the command "g++ --version" in the cmd terminal I just got an error that g++ was not found. I reinstalled it several times, but nothing changed. I have no idea what to do now. Does anybody what to do??
