Adding round brackets in printf function

Is there a basic way I am able to add (s) in my printf function and it gets recognized as text? I want my output to be something like "You have bought 3 pizza(s)", so I tried it but it gives me an error I am a complete beginner to coding and C, so I would really appreciate the help.
