logout button doesn't work...

of all the things to not work... I feel kind of ashamed... hey there I'm new so sorry for that my first messages are asking for help but I'm a little desperate... I'm trying to fix the index not refreshing as it should once you have pressed the logout button in account.php intended function: user wants to log out goes to account presses log out gets sent to index and has to login or register(sign in) but that's not happening idk what to do I removed the images file so it would fit in discord also the files are a mess since I've bee trying to fix the problem so please excuse it you can any help is greatly appreciated
