I need help figuring out coding as a beginner

Im looking to make a fun profile like gift for my partner but as a very basic coder, whos only used premade templates im struggling to figure a few things out! ill list them now: - how to make a box that can expand, shaped like a present (bottom and top of box seperate) - how to insert text and image into said expanded box - how to change the colours and make it look spiffy! (nice) If you can help with any of these i would love to listen! im pretty sure the website im using uses HTML! if that helps at all.
