I need help figuring out coding as a beginner

Im looking to make a fun profile like gift for my partner but as a very basic coder, whos only used premade templates im struggling to figure a few things out! ill list them now:
• how to make a box that can expand, shaped like a present (bottom and top of box seperate)• how to insert text and image into said expanded box• how to change the colours and make it look spiffy! (nice)
If you can help with any of these i would love to listen! im pretty sure the website im using uses HTML! if that helps at all.
