Should learn C++ for Game Devolpment and Other purposes.

Currently I'm interested in blender, (3d modeling), linux/bash scripting/automation, and a little bit about lua and roblox's game engine. Should I learn C++? For linux/automation. I'm already midly familar with javascript, html, and css, as well as nodejs. oh also, the only game engine that uses C++ is unreal.
